Spun off from the
Information Equipment Division of HYUNDAI Electronics, HYUNDAI DIGITAL
was
founded in April 1998 under the corporate motto of becoming the "Best
Total Computing Solutions
Provider".
Equipped with know-how
accumulated through 16 years of research, development, manufacturing
and
sales in Hyundai Electronics, HYUNDAI DIGITAL
was able to pursue stability and growth while at the
same time capitalizing on its own internally developed technology and
existing base of customers and
suppliers.

Having overcome
the economic crisis which hit the whole of the nation in 1997, HYUNDAI
DIGITAL
(of about 140 Staff) chalked up an impressive 361% growth in sales,
totaling 142.9 billion for 1999.
The company held a market share of 6.7% in the latter half of 1999 and
7.9% in the first half of 2000.

HYUNDAI DIGITAL
takes pride in upscale technical know-how gained through years of business
conducted by competitive employees, a well-developed after-service network
and experienced
engineers passed on from HYUNDAI Electronics.

Based on its research
and development achievements, HYUNDAI DIGITAL
has added Workstations,
Network Cards, Network Hubs, Routers and the Internet to its core business.
These lines include
Desktop PCs, Notebooks and Servers. The company is preparing to start
new business in areas
such as Mainboard Memory, Multimedia Cards and Auxiliary Devices. In
addition, it is expanding
its sales channels by establishing e-commerce business such as internet
shopping.

HYUNDAI DIGITAL
has successfully expanded its share in the computer market since 1999.
The company aims to command the third largest share of the domestic
market. The company
has advanced into such new markets as America, Europe, Southeast Asia
and China.
It is gearing up to expand computer exports to these markets.

HYUNDAI DIGITAL
was selected as an official personal computer provider to the South
Korean
Government in 1996. It has consolidated its position as a leader taking
a 30% share in the
domestic personal computer market.

Having been selected
as an Internet personal computer provider for the South Korean Ministry
of
Information and Telecommunications in 1999. In March 2000, it was awarded
to become a sole
provider of Internet Laptop Computers to the South Korean Government.
This award affirmed the
company's accomplished technology and competitiveness.
